424. Reduce from 4 to 2 square matchsticks

Easy Medium Hard Extreme


This puzzle is similar to but different from Number 412.

In the figure above 12 matchsticks are used to form 4 square matchsticks. Make sure to understand that A plus B is exactly 1 square matchstick.

Your challenge now is to rearrange the 12 matchsticks to form 2 square matchsticks. All matchsticks must be used and all matchsticks must be flat on the surface.

Solving this one without cheating means you are a genius!
