What you see here is not a diamond but a three-dimensional view of a square on a surface. (Make sure you understand this) Add 5 sticks to form 3 three-dimensional squares and 2 three-dimensional triangles. All sticks don't have to be flat on the surface.
You would have to think a little bit out of the box with this one! The name of the puzzle should also help you...
