631. Mathematical: 4 plus 0 is not 0

MOVE 3 matchsticks to make the equation true.

There are two possible solutions. Getting one solution within 30 seconds makes you good and both within 1 minute is excellent.

Remember that no number is greater than 9 and negative numbers are not allowed. You also may not change the equal (=) sign to a not-equal.

    You could also make 4 into 1 and move a match stick to make the 0 to a nine, then use the two match sticks from the 4 and make 0 into a 10.

    2 Hölzer von der 4 trennen und 1 Holz vom Pluszeichen. Diese nutzen wir für "1-". Ergebnis:

    1-1-0=0

    Solution with no more than 2 moves:
    Move one match from 4 so that 4 becomes 11.
    Move one match from the zero on the right, so that 11 becomes pi.
    Result: pi + 0 = pi

    By moving the two matchsticks from the plus to the 4.
