There are 12 matchsticks in the top row, the bottom row, the left column and the right column as shown above.
Your challenge is to TAKE AWAY 4 matchsticks and rearrange the remaining matchsticks to still leave you with 12 matchsticks in the top- and bottom rows as well as the left- and right columns.
All matchsticks must be flat on the surface and no matchsticks may be broken.
TAKE AWAY 4 matchsticks in the middle row. Move one matchstick to each corner as shown with the arrows.
