256. Letters between the lines

All the letters in the figure above span over 2 lines. For example, the letter K spans over lines 2 and 3, the letter V over 3 and 4 etc. There is a very good reason why the letters are placed on the specific lines and you need to figure this out.

You now want to add the letter Y to the right of X. Show how you would place it so that it also spans over 2 lines.
